Fresh in from a private museum in the USA, an August 1972 Honda CB750 K2 in SILVER. Yes standard silver, this colour was only available in Japan for their home market. With a genuine 7401 miles, (kph speedo) Paintwork on tank is original, side panels have been painted some time in its life. Standard HM341 pipes are solid, some acid staining to number one pipe by the footrest. Not only did Japanese home market bikes have the silver paintwork option, but also they had solid front footrests, amber lens in the side of the real light, and an 80 kph red warning light between the clocks. As well as a helmet warning sticker in Japanese, so is the top of the master cylinder. Apart from the side panels everything is from 1972, chrome is poor on the rear rims, scratches and dinks in the tank, front mudguard has a dent or two at the front. The bike has been through our workshop and has had a complete full service, points, plugs, oil, oil filter, air-filter, cam chain adjustment and ignition timing set. New throttle cables, new battery, new Continental period tyres, new chain, new front master cylinder, rebuilt front calliper, and all electrics checked and everything working. Runs and rides exactly how it should.
The bike is not UK registered, but comes with all paper work to show duties have been paid and (NOVA and US Title) to enable the bike to be registered on an age related UK plate. Full written instructions are provided.
