Honda CB750 CB 750 K0 1970 Ride or restore BARN FIND RARE *Japanese home market* £7999

£7999

Fresh in from the USA, an August 1970 Honda CB750 K0. This is a highly rare Japanese home market model. Manufactured August 1970. The last owner bought it in November 1970 with less than 2,000 kilometres on the clock, and rode it regularly until a few years ago, covering just 18,843 kilometres (11,708 miles) genuine and guaranteed, and was running perfectly when parked. Original tool kit still in place under the seat. Engine turns over with good compression, but carbs want cleaning, so no attempt has been made to start it. The bike is rare in two ways, firstly it’s in Japanese home market spec, with solid front pegs, red speed warning light in the top yoke, with rare gearbox/switch still fitted, and amber reflectors in the tail light instead of red. Secondly, it’s a transition bike, using some K1 parts, forks, push pull carbs, front engine plate, right hand handlebar switch with red kill switch, but has K0, tank badges and trim, front calliper, oil tank, seat (near perfect), seat catch, side panels, air-box, front wheel and spindle, clocks, rear mudguard and rear light bracket, rear brake pedal etc. All the other parts not mentioned are the same on K0 and K1 of 1970 production. Frame number is CB750 1049435, Engine number is  CB750E 1049639, and these are the original pairing, the bike has never been apart, touched or renovated, all paint is original (apart from right hand side panel which got broke in the container, so we replaced it with a perfect one)  all stampings are original.  Why the Japanese frame numbering went into K1 numbers we may never know. But what you have here is a CB750 rarer than a Sandcast! Well it must be, we have 7 Sandcasts in stock and only one Japanese spec K0. Be quick on this, CB750s are getting hard to find, so this one won’t be around long at this price!

The bike is not UK registered, but paperwork is supplied (NOVA and US Title) to register it on a UK age related plate to show all duties have been paid. All you will need to add to this is insurance, MOT, and the DVLA £55 first reg. fee. Full written instructions are supplied on how to register the machine. The procedure is very simple and easy to follow.
