If you are reading this advert, the motorcycle is STILL for sale. Fresh in from California USA, a December 1968 BSA Thunderbolt with matching numbers. In outstanding condition. All paintwork is original, everything works, a good battery is fitted runs and rides really well and sounds fantastic with siamese pipes and Goldstar silencer! Mileage of just 23,309 is believed correct. It was used in the 2008 film Going, Going Gonzo. If you search IMBA, you will see the bike at the beginning of the trailer. Also there’s scheduling sheets from the film production company showing the BSA’s involvement. Also comes with a BSA Owners club dating letter showing it left Small Heath for Duarte, California on 5th December 1968. These just don’t turn up in this condition too often, so be quick on this one, they are almost impossible to find in the US now!
The bike is not UK registered, but comes with all paperwork to show duties (NOVA & US Title) and to enable you to register it on a UK age related plate. Just add to this the DVLA 1st reg. fee of £55.00. Full written instructions are provided with the bike.
